These techniques can then be transferred to hand percussion, or the drum set.

Cake Making for Teens

This is a series of 3 classes where your young baker in training learns the art of making the perfect cake, frosting, and filling. And for the final class your child will be able to decorate their own cake. From top to bottom we will go over the basics of cake preparation and much more. In the first class the students will learn how to prepare both a vanilla and chocolate cake, which will serve as the basis for all other cake recipes. In the second class the students will learn how to prepare both frostings and fillings. We will be teaching how to make regular buttercream and Swiss meringue buttercream that go perfectly with cakes plus they will learn how to make chocolate ganache. The final class kids are going to put all their knowledge together as each one decorates their own cake to take home.Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
