Come out to ISC to celebrate Dr. Suess' birthday! The Fun Zone will be open for free play, we will read some Dr. Suess favorites followed by some yummy cupcakes!
A mindful yoga practice offers an opportunity for you to breathe with movement, connect with your baby, and prepare for labor. This class will guide you through a practice that helps you to release muscle tension, improve muscle tone, increase flexibility & fitness, enhance balance, calm the nervous system, and improve circulation in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Hop on over to our pad for a whole month of ribbiting weekend programming! Learn all about awesome amphibians at interactive education stations, see real specimens, join us for special story times with Marty the Moose and a cast of colorful characters, and take home your own fun froggy craft. Check out live frogs of many hues, search for hidden frogs, create a nighttime frog chorus, and conduct a virtual frog dissection in the special exhibit. Weekend activities are free with admission, but an extra ticket is required for the Frogs exhibit.
This is our "Shark 1" course. Our classes vary on both age and skill level. This course is for children who have perfected the basic swimming skills and are ready to refine their stroke and breathing techniques, as well as increasing stamina in all four strokes. If your child has no swimming experience or needs to touch up on his or her basic skills, please see our website for other courses.
A mat barre class that offers a unique combination of ballet, Pilates, and overall fitness. It's a blend of grace and strength building movements that target the total body and leave you feeling long, lean, and strong. A 45 minute pilates class which follows a system of controlled exercises that engage to the mind and condition the total body.This class is designed to get work your core and alignment post pregnancy! Rhythm Babies LLC is a traveling company providing early childhood music classes for schools, birthdays, and special events. Our classes focus on a music readiness program with grown up and baby. This program hones skills such as rhythm, melody, and beat. Our music classes are not only an educational bonding experience for parent and child, but a social activity that helps moms connect with other parents and babies. This exciting and immersive class focused on mixed media and fibers will leave your young artist totally unraveled! Explore traditional and contemporary techniques for working with fibers and mixed materials as well as explorations in fabric design, and printing. Weave, dye, stitch and design your way to fabric fabulousness!
The Cat in the Hat will make an appearance from 5:30 to 7:30pm. We will read "The Sneetches" at 5:30pm. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animals to cuddle. Children will make "Sneetch stars."
**Pop Quiz Trivia: Our team trivia quiz game will feature Dr. Seuss book and movie trivia. 7:30 to 9pm

We'll bring stories to life with songs and poses in this yoga class designed just for kids. using a story that lends itself to yoga, we'll come across all kinds of things form the natural world and incorporate those yoga poses in our story. Wear comfy clothing and socks.

KIDZ Zumba classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba® choreography. Dance steps are taught in steps and games are also included in the fun! Is your pre-teen constantly tapping on the furniture? While learning to play the drums is fun and a great skill, it can get pretty loud. This course allows your child to explore the rhythmic side of music without you having to deal with the noise! In this educational and interactive percussion ensemble, the students will learn essential snare pad fundamentals with a focus on technique, and musical interaction. These techniques can then be transferred to hand percussion, or the drum set.
This class plays an important role in promoting health and well-being for pre-natal and post-partum women. This calss is specially designed and lead by a nurse, aids in “Healthy” weight gain during pregnancy and more rapid weight loss after pregnancy, as well as, improved mood and sleep patterns. This is a moms only class.

Is your child the next Katy Perry or Bruno Mars? Under the instruction of local favorite Tara Hendricks, your child will go from shower singer to show stopper. This course will focus on contemporary arrangements of modern music. Students will learn effective vocal warmup and blending techniques, breath management skills, and pitch accuracy development. Most of all, your child will meet other singers and learn how to musically interact with them.

In this class, students will learn basic puppetering, sewing and sculpture techniques to make their own stop motion puppet short films. Students will design and sew their own character, like a pokemon or legoman, or they can sculpt it. Incorporating sewing and sculpting allows students to explore multiple methods of creating stop motion. The end result is a movie that students can share with friends and family!

Sewing is both an invaluable skill and a great way to relax. Beginners and those with prior knowledge are welcome to take part in this sewing course. Classes are small so the instructor will be able to work one on one with each student regardless of skill level. Former students have made everything from doll clothes to quilts.
A connection between parent and baby is a special gift. Bring that gift to the peacefulness of your mat. This class benefits both you and your baby in many ways through mind and body practice or breath and movement together. Parents receive the benefits of strengthening and toning their bodies and while babies receive intimate interaction with the most important people in their lives. Babies should be 6 weeks to crawling. Parents should have an open mind and prepare to relax, stretch and energize! Please bring a blanket for your baby. *First time Mom participants, please bring your approved doctor’s note of clearance.

The Merchantville Library and Eilandarts Center have teamed up for a laid back, super fun FREE drop-in story time. We won't just be reading stories; we will also be singing some of our favorite songs as well as doing a bit of streching (and maybe even some dancing too!). We'll keep the kids entertained and engaged while grown ups can enjoy a hot cup of coffee from the Eilandarts Center's cafe, The Station.
Build, sculpt, imagine, and play with clay! This exciting class focused just on three dimensional work will leave your child delighted by their accomplishments while developing a repertoire of techniques for hand building functional pottery, ceramic sculpture and general 3-D work. Think in the third dimension through other materials including paper, wire, wood, cardboard and more! Inspiration will be drawn from art history, world cultures and imagination while we'll also draw and reflect on our 3-D ideas, two dimensionally! All materials included, this course is designed so that students can attend ongoing and benefit from extended studio practice and learning.

The Voorhees Middle School Drama Club invites you to join us for a Dr. Seuss Birthday Pajama Party! Celebrate Read Across America week with your favorite characters from Dr. Seuss's book. Listen to stories read by Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Things 1 and 2, and many more. Continue the celebration with a dance party, crafts, and birthday treats. *Children must be accompanied by an adult
*Proceeds will benefit the Brooke Mulford Foundation. We will also be collecting new or gently used children’s books to donate to Wiggins School in Camden.
Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can build a rain gauge house, so you and your budding scientist can measure the rain dropped by spring storms. Once the gauge is built, your child can paint their project to personalize it. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.

Paint Me a Story is our popular Mommy-and-Me story time and painting activity for toddlers and preschoolers. We start with reading a story, then you and your child complete a hand print plate project together. We personalize your themed plate after class. Stay and paint some more, your Paint Me A Story fee covers your child's studio fee for the day.

Calling all young artists! Come out for an afternoon of instructed painting. Today's piece will be a vibrant neon sunflower.
This class will prepare children for the arrival of the newborn sibling. Through interactive activities, the children will talk about their role as the BIG brother or sister, feelings regarding the change & infant care with their doll or stuffed animal and discuss healthy practices. If current visitor policy allows, they may visit postpartum to see where mom will be when she is in the hospital. We request that each child bring a doll or stuffed animal to this class. A snack for the children is provided. Please be sure to register each soon to be big brother or sister individually.
