Kayaking Discovery Course

Exploring nature in a kayak is a healthy and fun way to enjoy the outdoors. Our course begins with a brief introduction and safety talk from our friendly paddling instructors, who will share their knowledge gained from years of kayaking. They'll outfit you with a personal flotation device (PFD), kayak and paddling equipment, giving you insight on the best ways to set up your boat. Then, you'll receive instruction on a variety of paddling techniques. **Kids under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. This class is also available today from 12:00 to 1:30

In this class we rethink our notion of waste, collecting cast-offs from our community to serve as creative art materials. We collect, organize and prep items to use for accessories, room decor and art pieces. *We offer different camps in the morning and afternoon. Mix and match between morning and afternoon classes and stay the whole day. Students who stay the all day can bring their own lunch or have it made from our cafe for $5 a day.

Our paddle boarding starter course is an excellent opportunity to learn the basic strokes and skills you'll need for maneuvering a paddle board, allowing you to explore scenic lakes, coves and inlets. They'll outfit you with a personal flotation device (PFD), paddle board and paddling equipment, giving you insight on the best ways to set up your board.
