Join our hands-on workshop and you and your child can get to work on a wood toolbox they can use for keeping anything from art supplies to toys neat and portable. Once the toolbox is built, your child can paint it in their favorite color. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.

Since his creation by Morgan Taylor in 2005, Gustafer Yellowgold has become and international phenomenon, acclaimed by The New York Times, which described Gustafer as “A cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and ‘Dr. Seuss’. Gustafer himself is a friendly creature who came to Earth from the sun and is living out an explorer’s life in a slightly psychedelic version of the Minnesota woods. Gustafer Yellowgold’s show is a multi-media performance of live music, animated illustrations and storytelling. With its unique crossover appeal, the show has been the wild-card opening act for Wilco and the Polyphonic Spree. Gustafer has toured nationally to arts centers, children’s museums, theaters and music venues, with additional performances in the U.K. and even Korea!
Toddlers want to convey their feelings with you but may not have all the words. Your toddler is also forming social relationships with peers but still is weary on sharing. How can you foster this development? Through a toddler’s favorite thing - PLAY! Through play, children are gaining the essential building blocks needed to develop thinking, language, physical, and social emotional skills. In this class, caregivers and their toddlers will find ways to interact using imaginary play, interactive songs and stories, and household materials. Parents will learn the importance of talking and reading to their children and the development it encourages. Parents will also meet other parents and become part of a community of mindful caregivers.
