Come our and Play to Grow with Chelsie Young, Child Development Specialist For babies and children, play is their work. Play is how babies learn. In this class, caregivers and their babies will find ways to interact using simple songs, fingerplays, and household materials. Each week, we will review a different area of development - cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and physical development, and how to incorporate play. By stimulating baby’s senses with play we can foster strong relationships with caregivers, more restful sleep, and an overall happier baby. This class will provide parents with information and activities to implement at home while meeting other new parents to become part of a community of mindful caregivers. Babies are welcome in this class!

Our Triple Threat Tots Dance Class will introduce the basic styles of Tap, Ballet, and Jazz in one energetic hour. The class is designed for ages 3-6 and will require a leotard, tights,ballet, and tap shoes. *Students enrolled in this 10 week program, will perform an end of session showcase for their family and friends!

This class includes fun exercises/stretches, hip hop routines, games, and expressing ourselves through dance. Also improves the way each child works with a partner and as a team dancer. A very upbeat, fun, and exciting beginner’s class for all boys and girls. A perfect, easy going environment for children to get to know hip hop and what future hip hop classes entail. At the end of the program, students will perform two hip hop routines learned along the course of the class! *Things needed for this class are a water bottle, clothing of choice, and sneakers/dance shoes.

If your child loves Halloween and cakes (and who doesn’t), these classes are perfect for your young adult. This is a series of 3 classes where your young baker in training learns the art of making the perfect cake, frosting, and filling. And for the final class your child will be able to decorate their own cake. From top to bottom we will go over the basics of cake preparation and much more.In the first class the students will learn how to prepare both a vanilla and chocolate cake, which will serve as the basis for all other cake recipes. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

This class is an introduction for expectant parents, adoptive parents, grandparents, nannies & caregivers to all aspects of infant care. Topics include but are not limited to: basic infant care including feeding, bathing, diapering, and characteristics of the newborn. A child passenger safety seat technician will provide training in the proper use & installation of child safety car seats. When available, a pediatrician will also be present for part of the class.
