YingHua International School: English-Chinese Immersion School of Princeton

YingHua International School (YHIS) is the only Chinese Immersion early learning (2yrs old) through 8th grade school in the Princeton area. YHIS is an International Baccalaureate World School (IB) and is accredited by the MSA-CESS.

Students in YHIS become proficient in both English and Chinese in small classes, developing positive cross-cultural attitudes while reaching a high level of both personal and academic achievement. In addition, our young learners benefit cognitively, exhibiting greater nonverbal problem-solving abilities and more flexible thinking than their one-language peers. YHIS students are well-prepared for any high school they choose to attend. They are known to be inquisitive, confident, and self-motivated.

YingHua International School (YHIS) is an English-Chinese immersion school in the greater Princeton area located only miles from Princeton University that offers a progressive model inquiry-based learning and dual language immersion program for 2-year-old through 8^th grade.  Founded in 2007, YingHua International School is the third school in the US that offers International Baccalaureate® Primary Years Programme with Chinese immersion.

Multi-lingual, Multi-cultural Fluency

YHIS is committed to ensuring its graduates are highly proficient in two world languages:  English and Chinese.  Our middle school students will take research trips with our sister schools in mainland China and Taiwan.  In addition, students will visit schools in Spanish-speaking countries once they start learning Spanish in 6^th grade.  With multilingual and multi-cultural fluency, YHIS students are uniquely positioned to make the most out of these life-changing experiences at a young age.
