The Watershed Institute

Over 860 acres await the nature lover in all of us. In addition to the many outdoor activities such as the 14 miles of hiking trails, there is also the Kate Gorrie Memorial Butterfly House and the Buttinger Nature Center where children can explore.

Prices: FREE. There is a fee for the individual education programs. Parking is FREE.

Hours: Trails are open dawn to dusk daily. Office and Nature Center open Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Nature Center is also open Saturday 10am-4pm.
