Is your pre-teen constantly tapping on the furniture? While learning to play the drums is fun and a great skill, it can get pretty loud. This course allows your child to explore the rhythmic side of music without you having to deal with the noise! In this educational and interactive percussion ensemble, the students will learn essential snare pad fundamentals with a focus on technique, and musical interaction. These techniques can then be transferred to hand percussion, or the drum set.

The engine succeeds in pulling the train over the mountain while repeating its motto: “I-think-I-can”. The story of the little engine has been told and retold many times. The underlying theme is the same — a stranded train is unable to find an engine willing to take it on over difficult terrain to its destination. Only the little blue engine is willing to try and, while repeating the mantra “I think I can, I think I can”, overcomes a seemingly impossible task.
