Take a community ride to celebrate the 4th! Kids, families and cyclists are encouraged to decorate their bikes, wagons, strollers and scooters patriotically. Bike Up Collingswood will host a short ride starting at Haddon & Zane Avenues, going down Zane, Park and Browning and ending at Browning & Magill where you will enter the park. Once inside the park continue your ride towards the ice cream truck. Tatem Shields American Legion Post 17 will be distributing free ice cream and popsicles & flags in Knight Park starting at 10am near the house inside Knight Park. Get deep into clay - make multiple slab, coil and hand built projects. Sculpt, roll, trace, etch, pinch, mold and more while playing with clay. We will make clay houses, whistles, plaques, serving pieces, monsters, necklaces and so much more. Bring your favorite bagged lunch, snacks and refreshments, and a towel or pad for sitting on the ground. *No camp on July 4
Children up to grade 5 are welcome to ride in the Bike Parade. Bikes can be decorated as long as they are still safely operational, and children should be able to control their bikes well. HELMETS MUST BE WORN.Children may also be pushed in strollers or pulled in wagons, but must be strapped in. Our weekly group is a safe place for mothers to get breastfeeding support, as well as develop friendship and community. New Mommy Meet Up is an open discussion of breastfeeding, mothering, sleeping, parenting and anything else that comes up. Although facilitated by a Board Certified Lactation Consultant, mother to mother advice and support are invaluable tools on your breastfeeding journey. Drop in when it's convenient for you!
Summer days like the Fourth of July can be hot, so Collingswood’s Roberts Pool welcomes kids to take a dip - but with a twist and a turn! Starting at 2pm, events for kids such as water games, raft races, coin toss, watermelon games and a host of other activities will keep everyone cool and prizes are offered for participants.
Come to Haddonfield to Celebrate 4th of July! We will have activities for children. J Dogs will have a number of activities near the Haddon Ave. intersection with Kings Highway. This includes Mickey's Play Park for toddlers, and a Hippo chow down, a double lane 20 foot slide, a 45 foot obstacle course and a bounce house for older children. This year our fireworks can be viewed from Kings Highway. They will begin around 9.20 p.m. To get warmed up there will be a party on Kings Highway, starting at 6.00 p.m. There will be a lot for families to do. They will be located near Mechanic Street and King's Court. We will also have food trucks, located between Chestnut Street and the High Speed Line.

TO THE MAX will take the stage as the Borough celebrates America's independence. The eight-piece band, one of the liveliest in the Philadelphia region, will entertain the crowd with popular music and play patriotic tunes during the fireworks. Admission is free. Gates open at 6:30 pm; Show starts at 8 pm. Collingswood display is one of the best fireworks shows in the area - the works kick off at approximately 9:15 p.m. In the event of rain, fireworks are postponed to July 5
Come to Cherokee High School starting at 7:00pm on Tuesday, July 4th, to enjoy food and drink from local vendors, then enjoy skydivers at 8:15pm and the fireworks display beginning at 9:30pm.
