In this fun, 3-day camp, young chefs will practice essential kitchen skills and master the fundamentals of cooking. Kids will enjoy working alongside classmates learning techniques like knife skills, baking and measuring, food safety and more. They will bake sweets, cook lunch and create some snacks (All recipes will be vegetarian). *Camps this week will only be 3 days long due to the holiday, but students are still able to mix and match morning and afternoon camps. Students who stay the whole day can bring their own lunch or have it made from our cafe for $5 a day.
Stroll over to your local park for a special outdoor story time brought to you by Cherry Hill Recreation and Cherry Hill Public Library! Join us each week for stories and fun as your children's Librarians pop up throughout the city. Weather permitting.
Get deep into clay - make multiple slab, coil and hand built projects. Sculpt, roll, trace, etch, pinch, mold and more while playing with clay. We will make clay houses, whistles, plaques, serving pieces, monsters, necklaces and so much more. Bring your favorite bagged lunch, snacks and refreshments, and a towel or pad for sitting on the ground. *No camp on July 4
Mosaic Arts is about creating beautiful works of art with an assortment of items, such as tiles, glass, paper, seeds, eggshells, scrabble tiles, and other objects. This class will focus on using mosaics to create a picture made up of smaller patterns, similar to the process of pixel arranging. *Camps this week will only be 3 days long due to the holiday, but students are still able to mix and match morning and afternoon camps. Friday nights this Summer in Lindenwold Park feature entertainment for the entire family, followed by movies under the stars! Tonight's performer is the Simon Mandal Magic Show followed by a screening of "Sing" at 8:45pm.
