This exciting class is for the lil artists' ready for drop-off! We'll draw, paint, print, and sculpt our way through a thoughtful and age appropriate curriculum that nurtures a joy for creative discovery and expression. Build intrinsic wonder for learning and the creative process in your little through curriculum that explores a huge range of multidisciplinary topics including cultures, science, the environment and more! We'll break for story and snack halfway through class, then get back at it. A focus on the whole child, helps get your little artist acclimated to a classroom setting through social support, self awareness, communication and listening skills! Please pack a snack. Curriculum from session to session is designed specifically so that children can continue attending throughout the year!

Kids will learn to keep and love their own art journal. Draw, paint, glue, stitch, and tear out parts in one place, and add it on somewhere else. This workshop will enforce the participant's ability to observe his/her environment and channel creativity into art. During the time of the course, we will collect items and fill up the journal with ideas and samples. There will be projects in drawing, painting, collaging and 3-dimensional. We will talk about different artists and their approach to art. The goal of the workshop is to help the young artist to discover their own creativity and find pleasure applying it into artforms.
