The Basic Skills Program is designed by U.S. Figure Skating to be the best beginning ice skating program that serves the needs of both the recreational and competitive skater. The curriculum is designed to keep skaters enthusiastic about learning from the time they begin lessons until the time they reach their goals. Whether their goal is to achieve Olympic fame or simply enjoy the recreational benefits of skating, the Basic Skills Program is the place to start! Skaters are placed in levels based on their ability. Six-week skating classes continue from Basic 1 through Basic 6. *Course includes 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of free skating

It simply wouldn't be the holidays in Philadelphia without the timeless family tradition of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker®. Be swept away to the magical Land of the Sweets as Tchaikovsky's iconic score pairs with lavish sets, opulent costumes, and the enchanting performances of the dancers. This classic tale touches the hearts of all with its endearing story of a girl, a gift, and a wondrous dream. An additonal performance of the Nutcracker plays today at 5:00pm as well. *The Nutcracker runs from December 10th to December 31st.

Listen to Hanukkah stories, create holiday snacks and enjoy hands-on Hanukkah crafts with Rosie Hymerling. Then, top the afternoon off with an interactive performance with Cantor Scott Borsky. Drop-In Crafts: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM followed by a concert: 3:00 PM!

Put on your mittens and grab your hot chococlate! This FREE live ice skating show featuring world class skaters is sure to amaze and get the whole family in the holiday spirit. Fantasy on Ice will have showtimes Thursdays and Fridays at 7:00pm, plus Saturdays at 3:00PM and 7:00PM.
