New Jersey State Museum

The Museum houses 4 museums in 1: Archaeology & Ethology, Cultural History, Fine Art and Natural History, along with a Planetarium. The Museum provides a plethera of children’s programming, including the popular Second Saturday performances.

Prices: Free. Park in the lot behind the State House or use metered parking on West State Street in front of the Museum. Free parking on Weekends is available in employee parking lots adjacent to and behind the Museum.

Hours: Tuesday — Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Sunday, noon to 5:00pm. Closed Mondays & State Holidays.
