Join a Duke Farms Educator one Sunday morning a month to learn why Duke Farms is for the birds! During this series, Junior Ornithologists will gain an understanding of what makes birds so unique and fascinating. Through games and classroom activities we will explore the life histories of birds and delve into topics such as bird biology and adaptations for flight, bird behavior, diets and habitats. We will learn to use binoculars and field guides and will go outside to see what our feathered friends are up to throughout the year. At least 1 adult must accompany each family of children during this program, with no more than two adults accompanying each child.
These simple excursions between Flemington and Ringoes are a great way to relax with the whole family on a lazy summer day. Begin your trip at your choice of Flemington or Ringoes Station. Your train ride is about 25 minutes each way, with a 10-15 minute stop before returning home. At Ringoes, you may use the restrooms, browse the gift shop, and visit the museum car. If you begin your trip at Ringoes on the 3:15 PM train, consider purchasing a Combo Ticket, which includes a round-trip to Flemington AND a ride to Bowne on the "Bowne Station Local"!

During this program children (and their parents!) will learn all about the wonders of insects. In the sky and under water, Junior Entomologists will explore the local environment using nets, microscopes, field guides, and other tools that scientists use. Upon completion of the entire four-part series, children will receive a Junior Entomologist Certificate. Part of each program is spent indoors learning about the topic of the month. Then we will go outdoors for a buggy activity. Appropriate shoes are required and this program will run rain or shine so please dress for the weather!

Be transported back to your childhood as you rediscover some of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago” in this hilarious and romantic experience for anyone who’s ever had a dream.
Since Harry's Birthday is July 31, we thought it only appropriate to have a special camp week devoted to him and the gang.We will touch upon all mediums we offer in the studio...canvas, ceramics, glass, clay and wood, not in any particular order but we will be working on various projects and different steps of them everyday. Multi tasking is a good skill to learn. With help, each camper will design their project on paper and then create it. We will also fit in one slime, one themed snack depending on allergies in the group, themed music, movies and any other crafts that come our way.
Activities include arts and crafts, dramatics and pretend play, stories, music, snack and outdoor activities. Children ages 2-5 are welcome to join us.
Students will participate in arts and crafts, music and movement, literacy activities, dramatic and pretend play, and playground activities including water play. Snack will be provided by the school. Students are responsible for bringing lunch each day.

We introduce children to a variety of forms of art, such as clay, canvas painting, mixed media, jewelry making, mosaics and more. A dedicated teacher will lead the children through multiple art projects each day and give all of our young artists a hands-on approach to different forms of art.
In this free four-day, 2-hour camp series, students ages eight and up learn key fundamentals of computer programming with Minecraft, using the Microsoft MakeCode platform. By the end of the camp series, students will: Create original coding programs in their own Minecraft world; Learn new computer science concepts, such as events, coordinates, variables, and conditionals; and Practice using computational, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills. This four-part camp series lasts two hours per session, and campers must attend the sessions consecutively.
Children will enjoy hands-on baking lessons held in our commercial kitchen, learning fundamental baking skills. All classes includ pizza lunch, drinks, afternoon snack and take home baked goods. Classes arelimited to 8 spots. $65 per day.

Students use the Ohbot app for Windows 10 as a group, in pairs, and individually, and also create code that makes the robot move and speak. By the end of the camp series, students will: Understand how coding and robotics work in everyday life; Learn fundamental coding concepts in line with K-12 computer science common core standards; Code the Ohbot robot to tell a story, sing a song, or make a joke.

Profeta Farms, a Readington, NJ-based organic farm, is inviting children ages 5-9 to spend time in nature as they explore the wonders of Profeta Farms. Profeta Farms Summer Sprouts Club will be held on Tuesdays, July 24 and 31 and August 7 and 14, 10-11 a.m. at Profeta Farms, located at 803 US Highway 202 in Readington, NJ. Each program will include a story and activity. Cost to participate is $10 per program or $20 for all four programs. The programs will be held outdoors, so please plan accordingly by making sure to wear hats, close-toed shoes, and sunscreen and bringing water. Hunterdon County's 42nd Anniversary of Music Under the Stars celebration will feature local talents beginning each Thursday. Vendors will be at Deer Path Park for your enjoyment, but feel free to bring a picnic.The park also offers plenty of room for the entire family to spread out a blanket, have a picnic dinner, hold an impromptu game of frisbee or volleyball, as well as enjoy the playgrounds. Updated information about the concerts, including rain location needs (which at this time are scheduled to be held at Hunterdon Central Regional High School) will be posted.

Crafts, Games, Activities and Fun!
Bring your tent and your family for our annual campout. Enjoy a night of camping under the stars! Activities will include fishing, a night hike, and, of course, a campfire. Dinner: 7:00pm / Breakfast: 7:00am. Come out and join us for an evening of family fun!
Young fishers will get to try to catch fish in the pond at Ann Van Middlesworth Park! Fishing begins at 5:00pm and will conclude at 7:00pm.
Come join your community at The Filling Station, managed by the Flemington Community Partnership, offering drink, music and family games! Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered. No food will be served onsite this year. Instead, there will be a menu station with details about local restaurant delivery, take-out and reservations. Weather premitting.

The festival, which takes place on Stangl Road from 12-8pm, will feature a beer garden pouring craft brews from Flemington’s own Lone Eagle Brewing; as well as Flounder Brewing, Jersey Girl Brewing, Czig Meister Brewing and Cypress Brewing. This free 30 minute workshop gives students 8 and up an intro to basic robotics and coding using the Ohbot robot. Students create code using the Ohbot app for Windows 10 to make the robot to speak.

Come join your community at The Filling Station, managed by the Flemington Community Partnership, offering drink, music and family games! Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered. No food will be served onsite this year. Instead, there will be a menu station with details about local restaurant delivery, take-out and reservations. Weather premitting.
The Flemington Car Shows offer the community a source of fun free family entertainment. Each show, hundreds of some of the best classic cars on the East Coast come out to Flemington. The shows are free to the public, and car owners. Live Performances are given by local talented musicians each show at two areas on Main Street, complimented by a DJ spinning classic tunes. Trophys earned by the best cars & door prizes raffled to everyone. Enjoy kids activities like face painting, games, and balloon sculptures.
