Come to Terhune Orchards for a day of family fun on the farm! What better way to celebrate fall than with Pick-Your-Own apples and pumpkins! Enjoy pony rides, pedal tractors, wagon rides, visit the Corn Stalk Maze, Adventure Barn and our barnyard of farm animals. Children can paint their own pumpkin to bring home. Don't worry about lunch, there's lots of homemade farm fresh food available - soup, chili, hot dogs, pies, apple cider donuts, apple cider, and more!
All activities are open on weekends, including hayrides, farm tours to see the animals, u-pick pumpkin right from our pumpkin patch, the 5 acre “15 Year” corn maze, pony rides, kids bale maze, our food stand – proudly serving our home grown hamburgers & more.
Enjoy 4 miles of our maze with 2 miles of paths, bridge, tower and music; a maze game with gameboard, hidden clues, time clocks and flags; a courtyard with pumpkin patch, hayrides, food tent, kids' haybale maze and more.
During this program children (and their parents!) will learn all about the wonders of insects. In the sky and under water, Junior Entomologists will explore the local environment using nets, microscopes, field guides, and other tools that scientists use. Upon completion of the entire four-part series, children will receive a Junior Entomologist Certificate. Part of each program is spent indoors learning about the topic of the month. Then we will go outdoors for a buggy activity. Appropriate shoes are required and this program will run rain or shine so please dress for the weather!

Reading Buddies is a six week program that gives older students and beginning readers the opportunity to share the fun of reading. Little and Big Reading Buddies are paired together, and meet 30 minutes per week for a six week session. Each session includes buddy reading and a litera- cy related activity such as a game or craft. Parent or guardians of the Little Buddy must stay in the library during the program. Little Buddies are entering grades 1-4. Big Buddies are entering grades 5-12.
These After School Art Classes are designed to stimulate your child’s creativity and discover their artistic selves! ( Ages 5 – 13 )
The children will be exploring acrylic painting, watercolors, pastels, glass painting, garden slates, wood signs, drawing lessons, and more in a safe, FUN, and relaxed environment.
A different Art project and activity will take place on each day. The children can register for a single day, 5 days, or all 10 days.

We are proud to announce that Prestige Dance Academy will now be offering a "Mommy & Me" class on Tuesdays this fall!!! The class is for toddlers and parent or caretakers dancing together while focusing on rhythm, movement, music and fun! Learn dance moves for home while developing healthy toddler bodies and coordination! Classes are 45 minutes long and cost $55/month or $150/3 Months! Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines a hands-on activity with your young child and listening to a story highlighting that aspect of farming. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about tractors. We will be reading two books about tractors and how they help farmers. Then everyone will participate in a tractor craft and take a tractor-drawn wagon ride.

Developmental classes are structured to give young athletes a positive and high level environment, to further their education in the sport. At this level players being to develop individual strengths and weakness', which our trained coaches will be able to target and enhance throughout each session. Tactical information will begin to be introduced through structured live game play scenarios, delivering the mental aspects of the game.

This informative, relaxed group is for parents and caregivers of infants. Each week focuses on a different topic of interest to new parents, and guest speakers are occasionally featured. Infants and children under 4 years of age are welcome to attend with the parent or caregiver.

The Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management, Hunterdon Pediatric Associates and the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers are offering, “Weigh to Go,” a 4-week weight management program for kids ages 10 to 14 and their parents. Weigh to Go will be held Wednesdays beginning September 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The class will discuss nutrition from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and an exercise class will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The program will meet at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center, 537 US 22, Whitehouse Station, NJ. The fee for the program is $95, which also includes a free 2-month membership to the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent when exercising at the Wellness Centers.

In a 5-part class each week, Tinkergarten Leader, Cait Csiszer, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we’ll share insight into your child’s development.
The program progresses to meet each child’s needs season after season. This fall, the curriculum for 18 months-5 years will support the development of a range of cognitive, social/emotional and physical skills. Our focus skill for the season will be problem solving.
Toddlersteps is a parent support group that meets regularly to discuss issues of importance to parents of toddlers. It’s a great place to meet other parents, too! You are welcome to bring your infant to Toddlersteps as well. No registration required and class is FREE! Classes are in Classroom #1 in the HMC Education Center on Rt. 31. (215 Rt. 31, Flemington). No class on November 22nd.

We're different after dark. Lasers, music and blacklight transform the whole park into a crazy jumping dance club. Waivers are required for all persons entering the park during Glow.
The adults don’t get to have all the fun! Our kids program is action packed and a lot of fun. Every session includes a warm-up, skill session, games, and a WOD (“workout of the day”). Classes are structured to give the athlete progressive training in gymnastics and strength training. Our goal is to build physical and mental strength, leadership skills, teamwork, and gain confidence that will translate into other avenues of their lives.
Join us every Saturday at the Sergeantsville Farmers Market. This is a seasonal open air producers market with local farmers selling meats, veggies, flowers, cookies, fruit, and more while also showcasing local musical talent.

Over 160 fine artists and craftsmen will exhibit using media such as oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, sculpture, jewelry, ceramics, works in wood, wearable art, glass art, photography, and more. The 21st Annual Branchburg Country Fair will be held on Saturday, September 29 (Rain Date, Sept 30) and includes entertainment, contests, food, activities, fireworks and much more. There will also be old time baseball games and a car & truck show. The 2nd annual Talent Show would like to introduce two separate competition divisions: one for youth and one for adults. Email branchburg talent@gmail if you are interested. This free event brings thousands of families each year for a day of community fun. The fair runs from 11 am, ending with fireworks at dusk.
