In the sky and under water, Junior Entomologists will explore the local environment using nets, microscopes, field guides, and other tools that scientists use. Upon completion of the entire four-part series, children will receive a Junior Entomologist Certificate. Part of each program is spent indoors learning about the topic of the month. Then we will go outdoors for a buggy activity. Appropriate shoes are required and this program will run rain or shine so please dress for the weather!
Activities include arts and crafts, dramatics and pretend play, stories, music, snack and outdoor activities. Children ages 2-5 are welcome to join us.
We introduce children to a variety of forms of art, such as clay, canvas painting, mixed media, jewelry making, mosaics and more. A dedicated teacher will lead the children through multiple art projects each day and give all of our young artists a hands-on approach to different forms of art.
