Spend one Sunday afternoon per month with a Duke Farms Educator learning all about the wonders of nature. Each Junior Naturalist (accompanied by an adult) will explore our habitats in every season and learn about a different nature topic each month. Part of each program is spent indoors learning about the topic of the month. Then we go outdoors to explore nature in the field. Appropriate shoes are required and this program will run rain or shine, so please dress for the weather!
Our stroller fitness class is a 60-minute class format for moms with stroller-age children. Fitness for you. Fun for your child.
Activities include arts and crafts, dramatics and pretend play, stories, music, snack and outdoor activities. Children ages 2.5-5 are welcome to join us.

All skill levels are welcome from beginners to master builders! We provide the Legos, but creations must stay at the library. Follow the theme for the night or free build!

We are proud to announce that Prestige Dance Academy will now be offering a "Mommy & Me" class on Tuesdays this fall!!! The class is for toddlers and parent or caretakers dancing together while focusing on rhythm, movement, music and fun! Learn dance moves for home while developing healthy toddler bodies and coordination! Classes are 45 minutes long and cost $55/month or $150/3 Months! Read & Pick is an innovative program that combines a hands-on farm activity with your young child and listening to a story highlighting that area of the farm. Parents and young children (ages preschool to 8 years) are welcome to celebrate everything wonderful about chickens at 9:30 am and 11 am. We will be reading two books about chickens and learn the many ways chickens are useful to humans. We will visit our “lady hens,” make a clucking chicken, and even learn a dance!

Developmental classes are structured to give young athletes a positive and high level environment, to further their education in the sport. At this level players being to develop individual strengths and weakness', which our trained coaches will be able to target and enhance throughout each session. Tactical information will begin to be introduced through structured live game play scenarios, delivering the mental aspects of the game.

Players who have a basic knowledge and development of fundamental skills will be introduced to more technical aspect of the specific sport, gearing them up for live game play. Drills and activities used by high skilled players will be introduced, with a high focus on proper technique and constant repetition to train young players successfully advance to the next level of their athletic future.

The Center for Nutrition and Diabetes Management, Hunterdon Pediatric Associates and the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers are offering, “Weigh to Go,” a 4-week weight management program for kids ages 10 to 14 and their parents. Weigh to Go will be held Wednesdays beginning September 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The class will discuss nutrition from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and an exercise class will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The program will meet at the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center, 537 US 22, Whitehouse Station, NJ. The fee for the program is $95, which also includes a free 2-month membership to the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Centers. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent when exercising at the Wellness Centers.

Every Thursday this Fall, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. In a 5-part class each week, Tinkergarten Leader, Cait Csiszer, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we’ll share insight into your child’s development.
The program progresses to meet each child’s needs season after season. This fall, the curriculum for 18 months-5 years will support the development of a range of cognitive, social/emotional and physical skills. Our focus skill for the season will be problem solving.
Join us for a Mommy/Daddy and Me Paint Session. Following the paint session, the children will get a chance to tour the farm and meet/feed all the animals.
Toddlersteps is a parent support group that meets regularly to discuss issues of importance to parents of toddlers. It’s a great place to meet other parents, too! You are welcome to bring your infant to Toddlersteps as well. No registration required and class is FREE! Classes are in Classroom #1 in the HMC Education Center on Rt. 31. (215 Rt. 31, Flemington). No class on November 22nd.

Babysteps is a support group that meets to discuss issues important to new parents. It’s a great place to meet other parents, too! No registration required and class is FREE! Classes meet weekly from 1-2:30PM and are held in Classroom #1 at the HMC Education Center, on Rt 31. For directions call (908)788-MOMS. In the event of inclement weather, please call Parenting and Childbirth Education Services at (908)788-MOMS or HMC at 788-6100 to check for cancellations. No class July 4th.

Enjoy 4 miles of our maze with 2 miles of paths, bridge, tower and music; a maze game with gameboard, hidden clues, time clocks and flags; a courtyard with pumpkin patch, hayrides, food tent, kids' haybale maze and more.
This free 30 minute workshop gives students 8 and up an intro to basic robotics and coding using the Ohbot robot. Students create code using the Ohbot app for Windows 10 to make the robot to speak.
